Research conducted by Harvey Miller, Center for Urban and Regional Analysis (CURA) director and Sustainability Institute affiliated facultymember, and Jinhyung Lee, a geography Ph.D. student, was published in the June 2020 ScienceDirect Journal of Transport Geography

Drivers and public transit users face uncertainties in travel times due to traffic congestion and delays. Miller and Lee developed a framework for measuring automobile or public transit travelers' strategies for dealing with travel time uncertainty. They applied the framework to a study measuring the impacts of new transit service on healthcare accessibility in an underserved neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio.
