Two months ago, most of Texas experienced a major power outage during severe winter storms. The massive disruption of energy systems that serve the state resulted in shortages of food, water and heat, with more than 4.5 million homes and businesses without power, some for several days. More than 100 people lost their lives.
How resilient is Ohio? Can such a failure happen here? What are the similarities and differences between the systems, regulations and markets that serve these two states, and how might they precipitate or avoid such a disaster in Ohio? Join to view our panel of experts discuss these issues and address your questions.
Hosted by the Sustainability Institute's Sustainable Energy Research Co-Leaders, Jeff Bielicki and David Cole.
