DRIVES Graduate Interdisciplinary Specialization

The Graduate Interdisciplinary Specialization (GIS) in Data-driven Sustainable Energy Systems provides graduate students with interdisciplinary training in energy-system modeling, data science, energy policy, business, law, social and behavioral sciences, and energy technologies.

Students with an interest in sustainable energy will develop their data-analytic and computational skills, along with a holistic understanding of economics, business, finance policy, social impacts, and law as it relates to sustainable, distributed, and digitized energy systems.

Students will strengthen their communication skills through experiential-learning encounters and develop the ability to innovate, be adaptive, and design forward-thinking solutions to sustainable energy problems.
