Summary of research, teaching or creative expression as it relates to sustainability:
Prof. Cole investigates the chemical and physical processes that control the fate and transport of carbon-species (e.g., carbon dioxide, methane) in subsurface energy systems. He teaches courses in Environmental Geoscience, and Energy and Mineral Resources for Society. He was former director for the former Center for Energy Research, Training and Innovation (CERTAIN).
