About Kim

Kim McIlwaine serves as the Sustainability Institute’s Business Operations Specialist, providing administrative leadership and operational support to the director and the broader SI team. She joined Ohio State in 2019, bringing extensive experience as an executive assistant and paralegal. Kim is passionate about supporting her colleagues and advancing sustainability initiatives across the university and the community. She enjoys creating efficient processes, supporting her colleagues, and helping others succeed in their work.

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental policy from Bowling Green State University and a paralegal certificate from Capital University Law School. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her husband and dog, as well as reading.
