These researchers are a distinguished group recognized in the Top 2% Scientists listing, a collaboration between Stanford University and Elsevier, for global impact and highly cited scholarship.
The organization DataMeta Lab, compiled the list of the top 2% of scientists from a global review of top-performing researchers. The ranking includes researchers who fall within the top 2% percentile or above, based on their c-score (with and without self-citations). This c-score is calculated using standardized data on citations, h-index, and other bibliometric indicators derived from Scopus data provided by Elsevier.
