The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center earned Tree Campus Healthcare recognition for 2020.

Tree Campus Healthcare is an Arbor Day Foundation program that recognizes health institutions for making a mission-aligned impact on community wellness through tree planting, education and community engagement. This honor aligns with Ohio State's sustainability goals and follows the university commitment to tree canopy.

This is the second year of the program, and the medical center was one of only 24 hospitals in the country to be recognized for meeting five program standards: have an advisory committee, facility tree care plan, community forestry project, a celebration event and a financial investment toward a tree care plan or projects.
