Ohio's own Cleveland Cavaliers will host their first ever College Sustainability Night, in tandem with their November 17th game against the Charlotte Hornets.
The Cavs were the first NBA team to hire a sustainability professional at the executive level, Danielle Doza, Vice President of Sustainability, and are hosting the event for university and college students to learn more about the team's sustainability activities and their partners from around the City of Cleveland, as well as discuss future sustainability career paths within professional sports and elsewhere.
The event will feature a panel discussion moderated by Ms. Doza, a tour of Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse to see the sustainability efforts being implemented, and a faculty networking event.
All guests will be required to have a Cavs game ticket purchased for access into the event, and there are discounted game tickets available for event attendees, along with additional event information, through this link.
