Each year, March 22 is designated by the United Nations as World Water Day, to bring attention to the critical value of clean water for all peoples. The UN launched the Valuing Water Initiative in 2019 to bring systemic change in the way water is valued in decision-making to ensure we can live in a sustainable water-secure world.
Ensuring water security requires many disciplines working together. For us as researchers, we need to build interdisciplinary teams to maximize our impact. Therefore, we are excited to host a panel of internal and external experts to share their experience and knowledge on interdisciplinary research. Please come to this virtual panel and ask probing questions. Then, also please attend our next Flow and Terroir in which we will talk about upcoming RFPs and brainstorm ideas and maybe even help new teams form.
